Updates to Contributing Member program
Just wanted to point out a few updates to the LinuxQuestions.org Contributing Members program:
- You can now subscribe monthly in addition to yearly (monthly is $5/month)
- Contributing Members have the ability to use the LinuxQuestions.org Google search - http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...oglesearch.php
As always you get:
- Contributing Member will be added to your user title
- You will have the ability to turn the 468x60 banner ads on and off
- Private messaging will be enabled
- Special Contributing Member only updates and early access to new features
- Most importantly you will know that you have helped what I hope you consider a great cause
Woohoo! Is there like an email or something that I will recieve when my year is about to run out? Or better yet, can I just re-up at any time before then to start a fresh new year?
Distribution: Redhat 8.0, Immunix 7.0 a few others

Just a thought on the membership program, it's already possible to turn off banner ads with some browsers. However, exclusive access to the CVS releases or beta releases of LQ Series kernels as a suggestion ...
P.S. I will contribute but I err, need a job first :/
