Operating System: Windows XP SP3.
Web Browser: Internet Explorer 8.

On the home page : http://www.linuxquestions.org; when I enter my username & password; i am directed to the next page displaying "Thanks for logging in; Mr. ameya sathe. Your browser will redirect you in few seconds. If it fails to do so; please click here".

1. If I wait for the browser to redirect; I am redirected to the linuxquestions home page. But; still I am not logged in. I have to again reenter my username & password.
2. If I click on the link; I am redirected to the linuxquestions home page. But; still I am not logged in. I have to again reenter my username & password.

If I click on 'Remember my username & password' check box; I may get logged in.

This behavior was not exhibited on Internet Explorer 7.

If you don't check the "Remember Me" box there are a variety of factors outside our control that may cause you to get automatically logged out (or never properly logged in).
