Question Two issues: Membership and Reputation:

OK, so I know that at least one of these questions has been asked before, and that would be membership. When exactly does a LQ newbie become a member, and a member become a senior member etc.?

Second, I was thinking that there should be a reputation thing for blogs. I know that most blogs are pretty useless, yet there are some people out there that post good and educational things. Shouldn't there be a way to increase the reputation of those like that? Also, many comments are good, shouldn't there be an add reputation button there as well?

1) http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...faq#faq_newbie

2) While blogs will change slightly in the pending code update, we have no plans to add reputation at this time.

Thanks, Jeremy! But, just out of curiosity, why not put reputation in blogs?

Blogs fall outside the context of what reputation is meant for. It's possible we need a better way to surface quality blog posts, but reputation isn't the answer there.
