Two different post anchor URL formats

I've noticed that LQ uses two different formats for links that go directly to individual posts.

Code:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?p=5121490
And

Code:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/general-10/can-you-compile-in-mind-4175494658/#post5121490
Both of which link to the same post.

LQ seems to have standardized on the second one, and I honestly can't remember where the first one came from. However, I like the first one better, as it's more concise.

Second one seems better to me as you can actually have an idea of what thread is being linked to.
