trolls

Are some of the questions trolls? Every once in a while I run across a thread where I wonder if it is a troll or if the initiator is just an idiot or spaced out.

Recently trickykid and I were interspersing answers to a guy who just went on and on until trickykid politely told him to drop the subject. My thinking at the time was that the thread may have been a troll. Did trickykid think that it was a troll or did he just get tired of the subject?

Which thread was it? Sometimes I do get tired or even members who ask questions, if I feel I'm just repeating what I've already posted and they aren't reading it closely or seem to be trying, I'll just stop responding. I don't like the feeling I'm just wasting my time and effort on someone who doesn't take it seriously or is trying a little bit harder. ;)

But yes, sometimes I feel at times legitimate questions could be a troll.

I wouldn't necessarily consider him a troll, more like someone who doesn't take advantage of searching the forums or researching different distributions on his own.. which ton's of sites out there describe each distro, etc.

Oh well... but I know what you mean though.... ;)
