The login screen.

OK I know I have a cookie set and I don't usually log in. but in a new install or at a different puter I do. Here is my issue; I use the keyboard more than the mouse. When I am on the login screen I enter my login name <TAB> Password <ENTER>. inevitably I end up at the registration screen because tab takes me to the Want to register? link. Maybe It could be moved so it doesn't get 'in the way. I don't mean to be petty or trite. It is only a small detail, but I am sure I am not the only one it happens to.

5amYan,
That link is there so that if a guest tries to post (or do anything you need to be a member to do) they can easily register right from the page telling them they need to be a member.

absolutely

I totally agree. As I said I don't want to be petty. My idea is to just move it on the page somewhere (perhaps above the login feild) that tab doesn't jump to it when logging in. I have a bank that does the same thing (except it takes me to a lost id# screen). So I inevitably have to login twice. This isn't a criticism or anything. I think the site is awesome. It's more like a small detail. And just an idea.

OK. Pressing tab from the username box should not get you directly to the password box. Thanks for the suggestion.

Remove the "not". Should is my thought. I didn't mean for it to be so difficult or to take up so much of your time. I know you are busy...

This will be my last post on the subject.

cheers,

Sorry, it was supposed to be should *now* get you directly to the password box. It was a good idea. Thanks.
