varishankar, stop deleting your posts. It makes it harder to question your motives. ;)

You have made my day! I had a good chuckle reading that statement. ;) Keep posting.

Since varishankar specifically used a POTENTIAL LEGAL ISSUES. I AM A LAWYER angle, I thought it was an important question to ask. You know, to clarify just how "potential" those "legal issues" really are.

It is good advice to mostly stay out of the General forum. It's just a place for venting and flaming it seems.

You are not the first to complain about the General forum, many others have in the past (me included). It is different from the other forums in that you are likely to get your toes stepped on, get flamed, and the thread to get off topic quickly. In the past, moderators have implemented totalitarian rules for a while, and it did clean the forum up a bit. Many have tried to limit what can be posted, but most have not succeeded.

It would be nice to make the forum a bit cleaner, but not too many posts are posted nowadays anyway, so it doesn't matter too much. Every forum has a forum like General ... and sometimes it's called different things...

For sure it is not on my View New Posts list, so I try to stay away as much as possible.

Hmm, the post deletion does not help at all, now we don't even know what we are talking about. I think the OP is angry.

His sig now says "Bye". Did it say that before?

I had previously suggested not to allow contents to be edited after 24 hours.
I am surprised to see that this OP has now started deleting his posts in other
irrelevant
threads too. That's sad.

I've had enough of the lot of you...

Due to excessive content deletion I have chosen to revoke your privileges temporarily. Check your email.

It just goes to show, the General forum may make you very angry.
