suggestion for a yearly/bi-yearly hackathon.
 
i think it would be nice to organize a list of a few projects that members can submit and sign up for and have a weekend/week to collaborate towards a solution.

ideas like things as broad as a new distro...

or as specific as a web-browser extension.

I'm not sure why you would need LQ (I mean Jeremy) to organize it for you? Why not just start a pilot in the General forum and see how it goes?
