Suggestion: Change "my posts" button to "my posts by thread"
 

Or add a "display by thread" option to the search result page. Which might be generally useful.

Reason: I just reached a pause in a long exchange with a guy in the Philippines (he'd been up all night, and needed to sleep), and wanted to see if there'd been any activity in any other threads to which I'd posted. But the "My Posts" button showed me lots of messages to the one thread, and
so I thought: "Hey! This is a redundant waste of bandwidth." And so this post.

So you're looking for a "Threads I've posted in" type functionality? This sounds nice but, in the mean time, you can simply set the forum to subscribe you to every topic you post in. Simply change the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" to "No Email Notification" and you'll be subscribed to every thread you post in without email notifications on every reply.

You can click "My Threads" in the right hand nav under "My LQ" to get this.

Unless I'm mistaken, that's only for the threads you've started, not all you've posted in, right?

Click on "My Posts" in the right hand "My LQ" box to retrieve your posts. Alternatively you can use Advanced Search, using your own nick as the search term

Ah, yes! Thanks. The "Searh by Name" + "Show results as treads" radio button is just what I had in mind. :)

It would be nice as an option on the search results display page: A "Redisplay results by thread" if by post (and "by post" if by thread) button.
