I'm sure I've seen it before (or have I?) - Is there an option to subscribe
to every single post in a particular subsection of LQ, eg. Distribution - Slackware? I can't find it in my subscriptions options.
Thanks
I have a bookmark thingy on my browser toolbar thingy (apologies to the jargonology police), with links for about four or five LQ forums. One middle-click on it, and they all open up in separate tabs. Feels just like a subscription to me, and is just a single click to start up. Right-click on any tab and select refresh-all-tabs a couple or three times a day if I'm at the computer a lot.
--- rod.
Every forum has an RSS feed, if that's what you mean?
I can't find it The only one I can see is the 'Latest Threads' in the Syndicate section which is an RSS feed of the whole LQ, isn't it? The rss icon in the browser's address bar gives the following options: LQ Latest threads, LQ News and articles, and LQ zero reply threads. Please advise

I like 'a bookmark thingy on my browser toolbar thingy', but I'd rather get it in emails or rss feeds. Sometimes I am very busy and can't visit LQ for a few days and I'd like to know what was happening in some parts of LQ world. Ideally it would be via emails/rss feeds.

Thanks. I'm getting old - it took me a good five minutes to locate the 'Forum Tools' link.
(Also the "bookmark thingy" is probably referring to a live bookmark- yes? that is rss and you can subscribe with a reader if you choose, rather than the browser.)
