Some more emoticons

Can we get some more emoticons, particularly a barf emoticon?

Hi...

I would agree but let's keep them in good taste, please. ;)

Regards...

Knowing the extensive amount of them I see like on my smart phone, I sort of wonder just how much horsepower one should be putting into this subject. Yes, there are some here, not tons of them. But at what point do we see the forum leaders having to make a decision for/probably-against the "smiling pile of dog droppings" emoji? And note that there already is a thread related to this which appears a mere two to three threads down the sort list in this forum, http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ie-4175576408/

Thanks for the feedback. I've added the following smilie. If there are specific suggestions for others, feel free to post them in this thread.

Jeremy,
Many Thanks!

Hrmm those seem out of place, since I was hoping there would be some emoticons to match the style LQ already has, but here are also some interesting ones that could be added as well:

http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...basic/sick.gif
http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...sic/atomic.gif
http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...ic/pcwhack.gif
http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...basic/puke.gif <--- perfect puke emoticon :p

Source for all these: http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys-basic-001.php

They all do not have to be added, but Jeremy PLEEAAASEE add this one: http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...basic/puke.gif

no :barf: yet? :p

Keep in mind that many of those are original and therefore over 15 years old, so matching the style would be difficult. Updating the old ones is likely a more viable option if there is interest.

I have access to a collection of smilies that are similar to the original set. If you are looking for a particular smilie, let me know and and I'll see if it is in the set. Here are a few:
