Serach

I am new to this forum and the first thing I am noticing is before I ask my question, I want to search for threads if my question has already been answered. but I cannot see a search box or anything.

Also when you type in the title of your thread, you will see a list of similar threads.

Press Ctrl-F and type "search" and the browser will highlight the links.

The new thread page has it THREE times - once in top banner, once in sidebar, and again to the left of the message box.

You can search sites with an internet search engine if you are unhappy with their local search.

OP may be 'visually impaired' (see OP's other thread, always a good idea before replying, I've learned, and IMHO OP doesn't deserve an UNwelcome 2LQ.org)

A tip on using the search button at the top: choose the: "Show Results as" Threads (vs Posts) button, to avoid the search timing out. Also, for the keywords, I sometimes choose "search titles only", vs "search entire posts", also for speed.

I didn't want to disturb the OP's other thread about magnifiers with a semi-wild-guess post, but this refers to a difference between: Mouse and Text cursor:
