search redirects to error page

dear lq admins,

in the top bar, the search forums redirects to an error page that says database error.

Quote:

The LinuxQuestions.org database has encountered a problem.
Please try the following:

Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
Open the www.linuxquestions.org home page, then try to open another page.
Click the Back button to try another link.

The www.linuxquestions.org forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

This is a long-time known issue.

You can keyword search LQ with an external search engine, by adding site:www.linuxquestions.org to your search terms.
