Regarding control over blogs section

Hello, Friends to best of my understanding blog meanse sharing your expirence over certain thing, here in LinuxQuestions I was trying to surfe through blog section, and discovered may users are simply asking solutions for their querries in blog section, which according to my understanding is wrong thing, Isn't there any way to controll and clean this area?

I expect blogs to be filled with diffrent expirence of users while doing diffrent new things, their sucess stories, insted I've mostly found some or the other querries in that place, I belive forums are proper place to ask querries.

thank you
regards.

I guess it's mostly by members who don't know their way around fora (yet) and probably a small percentage that doesn't care at all. When I find one you'll often see me replying: "While, within limits, you are free to post anything you want here this is not what your web log was meant for. Technical questions should be posted in the forum instead.". Apart from spam checks (and I don't know if those are automated or not) there's no moderation done AFAIK unless somebody reports a LQ Rule violation.

You're correct that all questions should be asked in the forum. While blogs are not enabled for a member until they have made a forum post, it's possible some members still don't fully understand the delineation. In those cases, do feel free to comment on the blog post, explaining to the member why the question should be asked in the forum. Thanks for the feedback.
