what ads? oh wait, I've got adblock turned on . No seriously, the ads aren't that bad. PM for regular users seems kinda pointless(except for the social aspect, as Jeremy pointed out), because it will give people an option to ask questions outside of the forums. I once had someone ask me to continue the conversation via e-mail, and I think this is kind of defeating the purpose of a forum.
