Programming section ....

Hi,

I was going thr' the programming section on the forums. And I can suggest an improvement.

Why don't we have subsections like : scripting, perl, lisp etc. Just like the distro sections we have. It will not only make searching easy but reading the section too will make learning a lot easier.

Thanks,

Possible...the most popular seems to be Bash scripts

It can also be split along -->interpreted/ functional programming and so forth.

LQ actually tried this. Even setup a totally separate site called ProgrammingQuestions.org that had it split up with the most popular out there, sadly it never picked up, no one used it, so now it redirects to the main Programming forum at http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/programming-9/
