possible cull of success posts

Hi

its grumpy (or grampy heh heh) here again

I do not want to waste time unless mods agree, but there are some posts that are in success stories which in my arrogant opinion do not add to the newbie help knowledge etc.

Do mods ....suggest that some posts go elsewhere...to the poster when they post?

If Mods agree can I report certain posts (not transparent to users as it is not a witch hunt) that I suggest mods look at moving to more appropiate forums.

Notice I am not trying to delete peoples input only move it to make success read more like its header suggests?

I agree the Mods decision is final.

Tutorials and guides would be much better suited to the Wiki or Linux Answers section.

Member success stories is more for motivitation than tutorials. It's a place to take a newbie when they get frustrated to let them see "This can work" or, after they've worked so hard at getting something to function, let them pat themselves on the back a little and let people know they got it to work.
