Please, remove my account

Hi Jeremy,

I am writing you regarding https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...5/#post5975248.

I emailed you about this before, but since this has been going on and on and on, and changing my username just won't help since there will always be traces of the old username, I am asking you to please remove my account from this board. Just unlink my email from my username and leave my username "ghosted". I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

Is there any reason why you can't just edit your email in "Edit Options" and put in an address that doesn't exist?

In any case, your account won't be able to be "removed", because you have posts attached to it.

It's on the "Edit email and password" page, but please don't put in an invalid address, just remove your email address; it's optional. There's enough invalid email chewing up bandwidth out there without adding the potential for more intentially.

Hungry ghost,

I have received one email from you, which I responded to and which wasn't related to removing your account. As noted, you can update your email address at any time. If you'd prefer your account completely anonymized, please us the contact form to send the request while logged in.
