Performance Tweaks Forum

Suggestion for LQ.org - how about having a dedicated performance tweaking forum or a html page dedicated to effective linux tweaking; to squeez as much juice out of that box as possible.

I want to sit down next to my linux box and I want it to knock my off my chair, you get the idea!

- I'm running Mandriva 2006 FE on 1GHz/256MB/20GB pentium 3 system.

I could always upgrade my hardware - but my point remains: to squeez as much juice as possible.

So how about it, a dedicated page/forum to tweaking?

There not enough demand for a dedicated forum for this, but the LQ Wiki would be an ideal place to get something like this going.

typo: missing an is, there jeremy.

Yeah, the wiki would be a great place to put this. Much better than a forum, because a forum is more for the asking of questions, not the sharing of tips. (if you've got a question try and work out which forum here it fits best in, and put it there- need I remind everyone to only choose ONE best one? )
