Original Poster Indication is Great!

I just noticed that in a given thread, posts by the OP are now flagged as such (on the left under the poster's name and stats). This is a fantastic feature! There have been many a time when I've gotten lost on a thread and had to scroll (or page!) back to the top to find out who the OP was.

Thanks!

Me too! This also let us know when another user hijack a thread. Thank you, Jeremy!

Lots of the "extras" I can do without, but I like this.

Excellent idea! Makes reading a thread much clearer.

There is an ongoing discussion concerning this new feature, as well as the fine details. Care to join in? Go here.

Cheers

Yes -- I agree. I've been burned before by meandering/hijacked threads, and this should definitely help alleviate that.

And there & here is where the discussion should continue, but for the record, the original discussion started here. I am gratified by the positive response & quick implementation. Surprisingly there are no thanks on the original suggestion post.

Done.

I was unaware of that post. I just suddenly saw a new feature appear. (At least I thought it was a new feature. When I started this thread I figured it was even chance that somebody would inform me that this feature had been there for years and I hadn't noticed. :) )

Thank you for the extra "Thanks", blackhole54. Helps make up for all the "Thank You" replies I receive without an official "blue thumbs-up" count. :D

But for the record, archtoad6 made the original suggestion; I only quoted his post and added my :twocents:

Cheers

Oops! I was scrolling around on that thread looking it over and specifically intended to come back to post #26 (I remember the number a day later, surprisingly enough). I missed. (I could never throw darts worth a darn either.) What the heck, blue thumbs-up all around!

ROFL

And one for you for the humor.

I know what you mean about the darts. Even the wall wasn't big enough for me, nevermind the target. Should've seen me with a bow & arrow. My dad only let me try it once. Can't say I blame him.

Cheers

This is a very nice feature.
Comes in handy when reading large threads.

Have a nice day.
