One more forum; filtering issues

In the 'Other *Nix' section or between that and the Linux sections, could we have a 'Cross-Platform' forum where everybody could ask their dual-boot and Cygwin/Dosemu/Wine/etc questions and all the multi-OS/OS-emulation questions? Make the Linux section more Linuxish? I know there's 'General' and all, but that tends to be (and should be) even more general, while a lot of non-Linux or semi-Linux stuff ends up in the basic Linux forums.

Also, since LQ seems to just keep getting bigger and bigger, could that option of not viewing General in New Threads be extended to every forum? That way General wouldn't be singled out and everybody could just pick a personal roster of forums to check - 2, 6, all forums - whatever interested them.

Everything's cool as is, but I have a hard time keeping up and weeding through and I think this might help me and others out, as well putting more focus on pure Linux vs. messing around with emulators and dual-boot problems. Especially as dual-boot problems are almost always Windows' fault. I'd probably still read (and post in) that forum but would be able to filter more effectively.
