is not that i want to be an asshole or shit like that...
but i feel that is stupid to charge 35USD($5/m) a year for a subscription if no "REAL GURUS" answer questions... so if users helps users... that means that we are not getting support from linuxquestions.org... i believe u get good revenue from ads and hits to this site... this is only my opinion... this is not a hate thread... keep the good work up...

I think that's a cool idea, jeremy; just a fun little addition to the rest of the site!

how can you have an opinon about something you can have absolutely no information on... you have no idea how much money banner ads provide.

And that aside, if you don't want to contribute, don't. you're under no obligation at all. Contributing members (and *not* subscribers) are encourage to donate as a recourse for thanks and appreciation, and they are fully aware that it does not give them preferential treatment in terms of getting haelp and such like, just some nice creature comforts.

So, before I take this the wrong way, are you spamming the boards with advertisements? It looks that way, but only because this your very first posts here...

If this is not Spam, it is likely you posted them in the wrong section, and you should contact Jeremy to ask if he can move them for you.

Welcome to LQ

gavinpeng - Like we give a flip about Windows and IE browsers?

C'mon, MasterC - this is totally spam - and extraordinarily badly aimed spam. What do you do with stuff like this? Move it to another thread and close it or just plain delete it? He probably posted it here just because it's hard to close this thread.

Delete mine if you delete his - I'm just saying...
