I just upgraded MySQL to 3.23.23 and everything seems to be OK. I did not get a chance to use pgcc as I am still working a few things out with it, but I did manage to find a few other configure options that seemed to speed things up even more. I must say that MySQL beta's are much more stable than many shipping products. According to the MySQL mailing list the 3.23 series has been frozen and is almost ready to be declared stable. Once again if anyone experiences any problems please let me know ASAP. Thanks.
