My LQ link sometimes opens up with download manager
Hello all,
Recently I have seen that sometimes when I click My LQ link, it asks me to download the usercp.php page and it opens up with the download manager. I am Using Ubuntu Lucid and Firefox 3.6.3 and Slackware 13.
I have not tried downloading the file. But will do that if again I have the issue. And keep you updated. And it does not occur frequently. It just happens. There is no reason that I can find it out. Not my internet connection or the local network.
Here are two files that I downloaded. One is the login page. The session ended and I needed to login again. And this is where login.php.html file. And another is where I wanted to see all my subscribed threads.
Attaching both the files with txt extension. Remove it and make it html file.

They're both valid HTML pages, so should have been shown in your browser. Have you changed your browser or added any plugins recently? Are you browsing through a proxy that may be munging the mime type?
I do not think any of the possibilities. I recently updated to Lucid on 29th, the day it was released and since then this has been around second time I have seen the issue. And because I just can browse quite fine mostly and this issue comes not very oftenly, it is difficult. And other html pages and other of my own sites work fine. Both html and php.
