Missing pieces on web pages. Ex: the place where you type or reply inside a text bar

When inside web pages not all aspects are showing up. The reply text bar is missing inside the web pages for example. Why are pieces missing?

Hi there, welcome to LQ!

Does this question pertain to LQ, or to a bunch of webpages on the internet in general? If it's websites in general, Can you provide a link or two to some sites that do not work right for you?

One suggestion first, is that so many (too many IMO) webpages require script permissions in order to function properly, so be sure to "allow" the page to execute scripting in the browser.

Another issue is that so many (too many IMO) websites use 3rd party content (code from other websites or providers) inside their pages, so you need to allow that other site also. For example, if you're on www.blah.com and that page has a video that is sourced from youtube, you will not only need to allow blah.com to execute scripts, but also you'd need to allow youtube to execute its stuff, even though you aren't even on a youtube page.

If this is to do with LQ, we'll have the question moved to "Suggestions & feedback", otherwise it may be moved to another venue, since this forum is actually where you introduce yourself

Generally use the REPORT button to request that a moderator move your thread to another forum. However, seeing as I'm already here, I'll put the move request in for you (I'm figuring that this is indeed referring to a problem you are having with LQ itself).

Please post your thread in only one forum. Posting a single thread in the most relevant forum will make it easier for members to help you and will keep the discussion in one place. This thread is being closed because it is a duplicate.
