LQ wiki appears to be down?

yeah, as of just before 4 pm (GMT -5) I couldn't get anywhere on the wiki. I could still see the page, but clicking on the links lead nowhere, and opening links in a new tab lead to an empty "untitled" tab opening. There were long loading times with no results. I couldn't edit.

I'm using firefox on a mac G4 500, running panther. Net is broadband (ish) through several routers and at least one proxy.

perhaps the server was overloaded?

Works for me. What's the error message you receive?

no error message, it just doesn't work. You click on a link and it takes you nowhere.

It was fine at GMT 21:22 (and it's now 22:04). May have been a very temporary blippage(tm) on your end.

Well there's your problem. You have to keep hitting ctrl-R continually if ever you think it's down. Similar to continually calling the helpdesk when you can't print. It's the only reliable way to get it fixed. J/k

I haven't been able to access the wiki for at least 24 hours now. No error, it just doesn't respond. I hope it comes back soon because it's the best Linux wiki.
