LQ UserCP *sometimes* doesn't show the latest subscribed threads

Today I received an email notification of the thread : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-linux-831221/

When I clicked the LQ UserCP it showed There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period.

This incident has occurred a few number of times before too.

Is the post that triggered the email still in the thread? If not, it's possible it was moved to another thread or removed as spam, which could cause the thread to have no new posts when you visited the site.

It is the post number 47, for which I got the mail, it is still there !

This happened yesterday too with the last post here. I could see that post only when I saw the mail next morning in Office even though I had checked in 3 times before too.

Here is the latest post which was not shown in UsepCP. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...8/#post4107888

I noticed it through mail notification !

As I said before, it is happening *sometimes* not always. I could see other posts in the UserCP but not this one.

I had a doubt that someone might have replied so I clicked on my "Created Threads" link and thus saw the response.

I had created this thread 1 day back. And I couldn't see this thread's reply in the UserCP. This is really really irritating !

jeremy

Would you answer something on this ? It has again happened just now.

jeremy 11-15-2010 03:31 PM

This isn't a problem I've been able to reproduce. You are getting notified via email and no other members are reporting the issue, so it's unlikely we'll realistically be able to track it down. We do have some fairly major code upgrades planned for the midterm future however, and it's very possible the issue will be corrected then.
