LQ system

Hi,

Just curious to know how LQ point system works. I have noticed that when someone joins LQ he entitled as a member. Then after 30 posts he becomes a member. And then I have seen some senior members as well. What is this system about? Is there a place where I can find a description regarding this.

Sorry if its been asked before.

thanks

Hi,

Take a look here for general LQ related info and here for your specific question.

Hope this helps.

Dumb part is, I could even be noted as a guru one day. Will never be even close though

billymayday, the operative word here is 'could' - once you reach a certain amount of posts, you can chose to be Guru, LQ Addict or to stick with Senior Member. You're not forced into greatness... :)

There are no stupid questions, only stupid... teachers... I think.

"If the student failed to learn, the teacher failed to teach."

Not sure where I heard that, skydiving perhaps?

I'd be scared if my skydiving teacher said that.

My experience as a military technical instructor tells me this:
If one student is having problems learning something, maybe it's the student, maybe it's the instructor, or maybe is a combination of the two. It's the instructor's job to analyse the situation to determine which applies.

If several members of a class are having problems learning a lesson, it's definitely the instructor at fault.

In re questions: there are no dumb questions. It's dumb not to ask if you don't understand.

If it was skydiving, it was in the context of learning to teach it. A reminder of the responsibility involved. :)

@rob124: Why are you reanimating a thread that's 2 years old??? Leave it in peace, it has earned it......
