LQ Posts Issue

All,

Ever notice that when you do a search on threads you started you get "posts" on threads you started not the "threads"?

Thread search should only show a single item for "Threads" or topics and have collapsible rows, if you want to click see all the posts to a thread, but really not necessary as when you open the thread itself you are going to see all the posts.

Just a thought, as collapsible rows was my meal ticket for years!

Cheers!

Nyle

"My Threads" link in the My LQ window retrieves a list of threads.

Yes, the link is to the first post in the thread...what else could it be?

I guess I don't understand the issue.

if you're talking about the search.php page, there's always an option at the bottom to "Show results as..."

  • posts

ondoho,

Yup found that but the default must be "threads" not "posts"! How do you change that on the client side, via the profile?

Cheers!
