LQ member intro forum

Would it be possible to keep the "threads with 0 replies" list on the home page from parsing the "LQ Member Intro" forum?

Seeing as how these are most likely just to be 'here I am' type announcements it would almost go without saying that most of them would get 0 replies.

Just my opinion.

Good idea. I excluded a few other forums too. Thanks.

Hello All,

This is my first post. I have enjoyed perusing this site for sometime now and have been a registered member for sometime now (with no posts).

I currently use Slackware Linux, although I am also proficient at OpenBSD and FreeBSD (not Linux distros).

If I can ever be of help to someone, I will surely contribute via a post or two.

Regards,
SunOfTux

New user

Hey all,

I am new to the Linux thingy. I have tried a few various distros and am using Xandros 3.0. I'm getting the hang of things slowly, but haven't gotten the tar.gz stuff to run or make an icon and do the windows like stuff.

Hello Everyone. I too am a newbie to Linux. Just installed Fedora Core 5 on a dual boot Windows machine. My first challenge will be to get my Netgear wireless card to working for access to the internet. I welcome the challenge, appreciate the support this community provides, and look forward to making new friends.
