LQ ISO suggestion -sorting

As a once time dialupper and a user of a, quite frankly, sucky broadband service,

I thought it would be cool to be able to look at distros according to size. Then I could download the smallest and try them out.

hey, I love the LQ ISO btw.
keep up the good work!

I've been to http and ftp sites that had links at the tops of each column. Click the one with Date and it sorted. Same with size and name.

I bet maybe moving Live CD's to their own section would be another plus since the Linux From Scratch "iso" would confuse as many people as it is now because it's a document and not an iso.

The ISO section is cool but I wish it didn't open into another browser if you clicked the link from here.

t3gah, you use lynx, do you not?
On firefox, there is a drop down list that you can use to filter your search. There are things like "live cd" "server" etc etc. You can also look at the alphabetical list. I would like a 'filter' to look for smallest distros. I was going to say latest, but that's on the front page anyway, along with most popular.

I was using lynx for awhile while I was testing Debian 3.1 (sarge) in complete console only. I'm back to Debian 3.0 (woody) and I'm using Mozilla, Firefox. Konqueror, Netscape 7.2 and I don't see what you are referring to. Search from the http://iso.linuxquestions.org page or from http://www.linuxquestions.org ?

We considered adding ISO size, but it didn't make the 1.0 feature cut. We'll keep it in mind for a future release. Thanks.
