LQ Fontsize?

Does anyone else find the fonts on LQ a little on the small side? I have to zoom to 125% in my browser to get a comfortable size.

Not quite, here's an image comparing LQ and reddit side by side.

I suppose it could just be the font faces the two sites are specifying differ, but for me, reddit is fine, but LQ is just a tad too small for comfort.

Yes, it's no hardship to use the browser's zoom control. I just wondered whether I was alone in finding it a little small or whether we're all zooming it and no one had ever bothered to mention it to Jeremy.

Not only do I not zoom in, but I like the size. I hate websites that have huge founts. My preference.

Personally, I prefer websites that don't specify explicit sizes at all and let the size default to whatever font preferences the user has set in their browser. Not everyone's eyes are equally good.

Anyway, feedback given. I'll shut up now.

I wonder if I'd even notice if the newer browsers didn't tell me the zoom or unzoom amount at the top of every tab.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll review this as part of a future enhancement.

this.
as any good web designer will tell you.
w3schools has this to say about the topic:
Quote:
Set Font Size With Em
To allow users to resize the text (in the browser menu), many developers use em instead of pixels.
The em size unit is recommended by the W3C.
