LQ distro icons
 
Some time ago LQ changed users' distro icons on forum. To my opinion new are worse then old. What do you think?

Which "users' distro icons on forum" are you referring to?

I believe he's referring to the icons in the lower-left corner of posts (the one that shows what OS the browser reports to have been posted from). He's saying he doesn't like the new updated ones. At least that's what I gather... :scratch:

Only two have been updated, Arch and Ubuntu - and that reflects the fact that the disto's themselves have updated their official logos.

Looks like Arch's logo hasn't change, it just looks different now... I mean it's still that blue arrowhead.

The old Arch post icon was actually derived from this logo, which is now outdated.

I like the new ones better, because they reflect the distros' current logos.

In my opinion distro icons are just like the distros that have them. Newer icons represent newer versions of the distro and older ones represent older versions of the distro. If you don't want to use an EOL distro, don't use EOL icons.
