Logout button on every page

Hi

Can I suggest placing on each page a logout button. I am not sure if there are other users with the same problem but with a slow connection and limited bandwidth having to return to home every time to logout is painful.

thanks

There is a logout link, though it's not a button. Look under "My LQ" on the right-hand side of the page, and it's the last item under that heading.

Hope this helps.

It helps. a little bit. logout there is not quite easily seen.

I think the complexity of the site presents a problem--there can't be a highly prominent
button for a lot of things or it would look too crowded before long; and also I believe
part of the limitation is from the pre-existing software, though it's obviously pretty
highly customizable.

My main wish (already expressed in this thread) is for a large "next page" button instead of
having to precisely click on a tiny number (2, 3, 4, etc.) to go to the next page of a thread.

But the same reasoning applies, I guess. :(

I asked the same Q a month or two back
and was embarrassed to receive the same reply
It actually pays to quietly and slowly have a good
look around this site

...

And though it's a complex and enormous site, those of us
who frequent or have frequented other forums know
how wonderfully well LQ works compared to a lot
of others! It may be awkward in several ways (it is!) but it
WORKS.... ;)

I agree with the original post. On my first couple of visits to the site, I couldn't locate the logout button.
I came here today to see if it was mentioned. Some of us don't use this kind of site (with forums) very much.

I think the site prioritize the advertisement before My LQ ( i will do the same if I had my own site). Anyway, I think it is not hard to change the Main Menu to add to log-out link (don't you think?)
