I was posting a question taking time to get it all right. Then when I submitted i was no longer logged in. I logged in and then something flashed about the post being reviewed. Did I lose it by taking too long?

I don't know but whenever I need time to make a long post I first write the content in a text editor then copy/paste it in LQ when it's ready.

It has happened to me before also here at LQ, while looking for a link to add to my post & it may have been a long reply.
Basically I think I took too long to format my reply.

This can be prevented by checking the "Remember Me" (or similar) option when logging in.
Regarding the message for a review for your post, sometimes post from new members are marked to be reviewed first by a moderator to prevent spam (not that I say you are spamming). This is nothing to worry about, as soon as a moderator had a look at your post it will appear on the forum.
