A pat on the back for a job well done Jeremy. I think that by the time LQ has it's 10th, I might have a clue as to what I can do with linux!
Keep up the good works, I (well all members I suppose) might not say thanks very often, but I suspect that we owe LQ more gratitude than we're prepared to admit.
How about a section for software contributions ?
At present only Linux Software Distributions are available for download.
The section would not necessarily have to store them for download
- it could publicize the contributed software & provide a link for download.
For example I have a free program on my web site 'uvhd' (vertical hexdump).
- for viewing files with packed or bianry fields
- you can browse, search, update, etc www.uvsoftware.ca/libuvhd.htm

I have another suggestion (that may have already been posted, but cos I aint sure of that, I will post it): There should be forums for different countries so even those who cant speak english properly can feel the joy of LQ. Forums wouldn't need to be big, just one forum for a country (no subforums).
