Happy birthday!!

comments:
If our question has been answered, we should be able to mark our thread as 'solved' of 'fixed' or something like that.

'solved' or 'fixed' threads should have their own search area so people can find answers to their problems faster.

After a predetermined time all posts without comments should be moved from the main page of the particular forum to an 'archive' type area so that the post receiving the most attention are easiest to spot, comment on, and learn from

I don't mean to sound harsh, but:
Not only is this completely off-topic, but this has been asked and answered before. Please feel free to use LQ's Search functionality. The answer has always been, and most likely will continue to be, that this is not necessary right now.

This website has contributed more to my knowledge than any other single place or entity. In the true spirit of Open Source, conversation, debate, and sharing of ideas are all encouraged here. Hoorah for LQ and its 5 years of success!

CONGRATS!....

Things have improved a lot and made GNU/Linux easy to use. LQ has really imporved the way I use GNU/linux.

There's only one thing missing!..

There are lot of questions which remain unanswered and increases daily.
I feel there must be someway of organizing questions in such a way that some users could happily answer questions.

In other words, as far as possible less questions with 0 replies should be there.

BTW.....this is the only BEST WIDESPREAD FORUM for GNU/LINUX ....is what I think...

KEEP GOING!!!

CONGRATS ONCE AGAIN!

A belated happy birthday :) Hope to see LQ in action for another decade. Actually LQ will live forever, just like any other Superhero.

Best wished to LQ and the wiki.

Congratulations LQ!!
Another reason to celebrate. :D

My suggestion is to have a IRC channel. I know it has been suggested already but I still want to remind of it.

Happy Birthday LQ.org

I have just become a member recently and I think this site is highly useful. The only suggestion I would have is breaking the Newbies section into more defined areas like maybe KDE desktop tricks, or GNOME tricks. I think Linux is wonderful, but a bit overwhelming because of it's functionality, You can do so much with it. Happy Birthday and I hope that this site is around for a long, long time.
