This is a great site with a huge wealth of info. For a newbie to Linux, this is a jackpot! Thanks to the folks responsible for making this happen and to the knowledgeable folks who contribute!

Welcome pj5739. Yes there is lots of info here. Be sure to use the search tool and look under many of the different links on the pages. Reading all you can will help understand Linux. Been using linux for over 8 years and still learn something new about everyday here. Some of the simpliest commands from days of command prompt only.
