This is already offered on the LQ Wiki. I have the faint recollection of Jeremy mentioning it for the main site, but nothing since.

http://openid.net/ should have all the info you need. I have mine with Verisign.

According to Jeremy's blog, the wiki is a consumer only.

I was hoping to use my LQ blog as an openid login.

While we have no definitive plans (and therefor no ETA), becoming an OpenID provider is something we're evaluating. If anyone has an opinion on why we should or shouldn't do this, please do feel free to post in this thread.
