LinuxQuestion.org File??

I was looking around in my homedirectory today for stuff i can get rid of. Stumbled across a directory security_files; in there i got all the .gif's from LinuxQuestions - well not all but stuff like the buddy and search buttons.
What i don't understand is how this gets there - didn't drink that much beer lately that i would have forgotten downloading this + what in the heck would i need it for.

Well if you notice that when you browse the web and pages, it downloads files so you can actually view them. The Buddy and Search gif files are on about every page on this site, that is how those would get there in your sort of cache file it seems.

It's not a cache file. It's a file right in my user directory and it even got the gif for the Cowboy Dude Ranch in there. I got 11 gif's and 2 html's in there and all have been created at the same day and time.
Plus it is getting stanger: I just checked in history what i was doing at the time the directory was created - had a visit LQorg in there at the same time but when i hit the adress to see the thread it took me to http://survey.burstmedia.com - never been there before.
I think i got to get rid of mozilla1.0RC1 - has been acting up anyway.

crashmeister,
This site should not create any files on your computer (aside from the cache files that trickykid spoke of). The burstmedia link you are seeing is one of the click though URLs of a banner on the site.

I was just curious where how that file ended up on my box. I think it's probably some problem with mozilla - gonna get rid of it. The strange thing is that the directory is called security_files . If it would be something like LinQorg or anything around that I could in some way think of some screwed way it showed up there.
Anyway - never thought that you guys are up to something; just curious.

Jup, did it again - this time the directory is called java files. Thats kind of funny because I didn't get java to work with mozilla so far.
