You are not alone. I have always ignored Red Hat threads. Personally, when people ask for help with their Red Hat systems, I consider it taking advantage of the board's members. They want volunteers to work for them, instead of paying for the support contract and getting help from Red Hat's paid employees.
I share most of the sentiment. I also am inclined that way with Zorin OS, although maybe not as strongly.
For general questions of interest I sometimes participate in both. But for those seeking product specific support - this is not the place in my opinion.
My criteria for responding to a post is simple. If I think I can help with it, I try. Otherwise, I am trying.
Snark aside, if someone using Kali asks a sane question in a sane and competent manner, I think he or she should be treated like the user of any other distro and answered as competently as possible.
If he or she asks a question in a less-than-competent manner, he or she should be pointed to the how-to-ask-a-question tutorial, just as if he or she was using Slackware or Debian.
The poster is first and foremost a hopeful Linux user.
And, yes, some of them do appear to be wannabe script kiddies. Those will find that Kali is not easy, not simple, and not for them.
