Is torrent advertising illegal?

I have some torrents of the Mozilla Firefox 0.9 release candidate for Linux running right now, but I want to know whether or not it is illegal to advertise this.

Of course, IANAL, but I don't see why it would be illegal...

www.Mozilla.org has the program available for download.

I've not read the Mozilla License, but I'm pretty sure it allows you to distribute the program.

Linux distros include Mozilla, and advertise it on their websites. You can usually even download the package off their websites.

I'm not debating the legality of making torrents of these files, but the legality of advertising them on this forum. I guess I wasn't too clear.

No, torrents for free software are fine, but perhaps a link to your web page in your sig and the torrents on said page would be better.
