Is the security forum broken?

From the main forums page I see that there should be 20k + posts in the Security forum. When I enter the forum I see only 48 - and no [Page 1 of nnn 1 2 3 4 5...] widget to move to another page (the thing which is normally above and below the list of posts on the page).

I tried a couple of other forums and they seem to be working as expected.

For some reason the default search parameter of the Security section is only to show the last month of posts. AT the bottom, where you see the Display Options, change the 3rd drop down (From The) to beginning and you'll be able to navigate all 20,000+ threads.

Thanks Timothy Miller,

That did the trick. Perhaps this is a default setting which the MODERATORS could set to be consistent with the of the forums.

All fora should be set to "Show all threads". Linux - Security has been updated, thanks for the heads up.

Thanks jeremy,

That is more like it. When I saw only 48 posts I thought "Yes, Linux is reasonably secure, especially compared to Windoze, but I have probably asked almost 48 dumb questions in the forum myself." :)

Thanks again,

Ken
