i would like to change my forum userid. How?

folks,

i would like to change just my 'userid: jscott000' for this forum. Is it possible and/or who should I send a note to?

Nothing you can do yourself to change the id of your current account. Jeremy can , but you need some damn convincing arguments to make him do that.
Easier , if you don't have many posts already/don't care about postcount : Simply create a new account.
Before you do that , however , think thoroughly why and how seriously you want that other id.
Applying this method frivolously is certainly frowned upon on most messageboards.

We usually don't allow username changes, but if you have an extremely good reason you can contact me.

Which is better, Asking Jeremy to change it, or creating a new id and asking Jeremy to delete the old one. I don't have a problem abandoning the old id.

My reason is simple. I am trying to consolidate my userids across all the systems i really use on the net. I created this id when i was desperate and needed help - not paying attention to the id I thought up at that moment. Now my head has cleared.

We don't delete accounts that have posts associated with them.
