I have a legitimate post needed, but

I can't post links and images to make my post better! I dont know enough about Linux yet to make any worthwhile posts

:o

What's happening when you try to post links (not sure how you'd post images.)?

bulliver 05-02-2004 05:56 AM

Seems to me that the fact that you don't know much about Linux is a good enough reason to make a worthwhile post.

Do you have a question or are you just rambling?

PS: You cannot post images here.

XavierP 05-02-2004 06:11 AM

You cannot post images at all in LQ - you will need to link to the site which provides the image (whether your own site or a third party site) - this means you will need to uplaod the image to a webserver.

You cannot post polls or links to LQ until you have passed the 5 post mark. This was done ito stop spammers from misusing the site.

Whether it's a rant, a ramble, or a misformed question.... what is it doing in Linux - Networking? *sigh*

Rant/Ramble...

I had to post in a forum where my post would count so that in another thread (which got moved to the General Forum, oops) I could post some images. THe forum software is set that I can't post links if I have under 5 posts So this post got me above that limit :p

motub 05-02-2004 06:36 PM

Oh, happy day ;) .

johnp, so you did something to purposely circumvent a rule and then posted about it?
