[SOLVED] I can't give reputation or "find this post helpful"

Hi,
Why are all reputation icons unclickable, and the "do you find this post helpful?" missing?
Is it because I have never posted before? If yes, this is not mentioned anywhere in the FAQ, or anywhere else as far as I can tell.

Maybe things have changed a little bit since when it was posted but you can get a lot of info on https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...system-828421/
Plus, be aware that "do you find this post helpful?" links are deliberately deactivated in some LQ sub-forums...

The "find this post helpful" part was instantly answered, as it now appears at the bottom right of posts (unless disabled).
The thread you linked is exactly what I was looking for.
It's a strange question for a first post, but I got interested in LQ exactly because reputation systems may be the subject of an assignment I will get.
