I'm embarrassed to even ask...

I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to quote anoter post. I've looked in the faq, and I can't seem to find anything...I'm not normally this brain-dead, but can someone help me on this one? Try to spare my feelings at least a little...

erm.. ok, see the reply button? see half an inch above it there's the quote button?

Yes, but if you want to quote multiple quotes in the same thread or if you want a slightly easier way to do it heres how. Copy and paste the text you want to quote in the text field and simply surround the text with [ QUOTE] [ /QUOTE] *** note i put spaces in so that it doesnt quote what i just put here. Hope this helps.

I wasn't clear enough, as is often my problem with the questions I ask. I saw that...what I meant is below.

Posts on here dont get deleted, they just get bumped down when someone else posts another thread. Rest assured no-one will delete your post unless you put something bad on it.

Good. Have I mentioned that i love this site? Great post archive of information...fully searchable...people don't hate noobs. I was seriously worried about diving into Linux. But I'm finding everything I need here, often in another post. Jeremy, mods, everyone...THANKS!

Np, i noticed that *most* people are respectful in this forum as well. I hope you enjoy the ride on the linux train!
