How do I subscribe to a thread???

I can find the link to subscribe to a Forum, but that yields FAR too many postings for me to keep up with. I have a job, wife and kids - and not the hours required to keep up with all of this each day.

But there are a few threads (esp. the ones that I start) that I'd like to keep up with in My LQ (or my CP). The site used to automatically subscribe me to any thread I posted to - but I haven't had anything show up in my "Subscribed Threads" list in so long, I'm beginning to think I don't even know how to use the site.

Can anyone give me some help???

If you created the thread then you might allready be subscribed to it.

If not scroll down, quite a way, under the "similar threads" option you should see something like

Show Printable Version | Email this Page | Subscribe to This Thread | Bookmark @ LQ Bookmarks

just above "forum jump" "rate" and "search"

ok, when you log into, there are some options on the right of the screen for your user info.
go to where it says 'options' and click 'allow email from'
and i believe it will automatically subscribe you to any threads that you post in after that.

i know that i am automatically subscribed to threads i post in, so i think its an options per user thing.

hope this helps

Thanks for the info, both of you.

I'm also pretty sure it's a profile/permissions thing. I just don't know how it got messed up. <sigh>

I will check the settings location given, and use the link (haven't seen it previously).
