Are you referring to this thread : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-issue-833675/ ?

The Moderator who replied to that thread is here : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...in32sux-39361/

Click on the Contact Info (the 4th tab) there and send him a mail !

Secondly Moderators are not supposed to ask before closing the threads. The are free to close the threads which break the LQ rules.

Read the point number 13 in the below Rules link: (Then may be you'll change your plan of mailing the Mod)

Exclamation

i dont see how my post break any rules. I am trying to ssh and telnet into my servers but comcast has this thing (well documented) where they send certain packets to interfere with any telnet, rdp, ssh protocols. I am asking how to get around something that should work for me since I AM PAYING FOR IT out of my own pocket. Its not like i am trying to break into somebody network.

Just think though...if someone was hacking into someone elses network would they tell us... ??? everything you read in LQ or any forum is without feeling or meaning, that is provided by the reader, hence the often misunderstood and alienated... LOL

ps I reckon its best to assume that there is some humour and good intentions first before taking offence.
