I'm not a mod but I don't think you can. There may be useful answers among those 60 posts you've contributed to for others' benefit.

On github one can delete one's account and it will simply change the username to "Ghost".

Why can't that be done on LQ ???

I find it unacceptable that in this day and age one can not delete one's account on LQ.
Okay, why would it be important to someone(s) that other LQ members can no longer identify posts made by that member?

So again, why would it be important to someone(s) that other LQ members can no longer identify posts made by that member?

But since you ask this kind of question (twice now), you obviously do not care about your Privacy...
Okay, if someone is worried that LQ is on the internet and that people will see their posts why post here?

The latter part of the thread seems to be related to this other thread.

I do not understand the link between "minimising footprint" and removing posts made on a computer users' forum. Even the American and Chinese governments would not use posts regarding installation and configuration of computer operating systems as evidence of sedition or "terrorism".

True, but a little overboard for a board like this. If someone wanted to track me down there would be easier ways of doing it than trying to connect me with anonymous posts made on a forum.
